Are you nervous to quilt with woven's? I was too! Here is what I learned when making my Lela's Garden quilt with Sprout Woven's. It was much easier than I thought it would be. Sprout Woven's are a looser weave than quilting cotton, but I love the softness and texture it brings to a quilt.
Here's what I learned:
1. Don't cut more than 2 layers of fabric at a time. This will help keep the shape of the fabric you are wanting.
2. Press, don't iron. This is important so the fabric doesn't get pulled out of shape.
3. Use smaller thread length. On my machine, I usually use a a 2.8 length for quilting cotton. For this quilt, I used a 2.2 length.
